Anecdotal input:

During the development stages of our Curas brand, we had very detailed discussions with our external marketing partners. We tried to explain to them how the healthcare market operates; and one of the statements was something like: "Nurses don’t use a product unless they trust it".

A few days later, we discussed that the national distributors are very selective when they accept products for national distribution and soon after one said something like: "Distributors do not promote a product if they don’t trust the supplier".

Before the end of the day; we had also looked at the manufacturers and one had said: "Unless a manufacturer has trust in the brand, they are not allocating product development resources".

Ultimately, any product or service in the healthcare industry relates to improving people’s lives. Helping people, who are often in difficult circumstances, is a big challenge and it takes teamwork between those who develop and manufacture medical devices and those who ultimately promote and use medical devices in human medicines.

Trust, in our line of business, cannot be ignored; in fact it is a prerequisite to all we do. Therefore we accept the challenge to work in a way where First comes trust.
